We had a wonderful family stay in Porto and explored the city on foot. The rooftop bar offered beautiful views, and the kids loved the mini bar with free water. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh pastries and variety of options.
My wife says that the breakfast could be improved with faster replenishment of items. It took a while to restock the food when it ran out.

We had a lovely time in the family suite. the breakfast was fabulous and our kids enjoyed the pool and game room during our stay. We did notice some bathroom lights didn’t work, but it didn’t impact our overall experience at all. Definitely recommend getting a room on a higher floor for great views! 😊

The location of the Mercure in Porto caught my eye right away. Everything is within walking distance, making it super convenient. The room was modern and clean, and I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. The mini pastel de nata was a delightful treat! Unfortunately, I found the bed to be quite firm, which left me with some back discomfort after a few nights. Housekeeping could use improvement. I noticed some inconsistencies with the cleaning standards during my stay. I expected the room to be a little larger for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooftop terrace was closed during my visit, which was a disappointment since it’s advertised. The bar drinks were pricey and not always well-made either. All in all, really enjoyed the location and breakfast, but some other issues need addressing for a better stay.

The room was pretty spacious with a huge bed, which was super comfy. Loved the free minibar with water and soda. It was nice and quiet since mine was facing the inner courtyard. It felt fresh and modern overall, though the decor was a bit quirky. Just wished the shower over the bath was a bit safer, but other than that, it was enjoyable to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Stylish Stay with Great Views
Our two-night stay offered stunning panoramic city views from our Privilege Double Room. The staff's friendly service made a lasting impression, especially during dinner at the onsite restaurant, where the food was delicious. Be sure to reserve parking beforehand for a smoother arrival!

A solid location for exploring, with the hop-on/hop-off bus and old tram right outside. The breakfast dining area offers a fantastic view of the city, making each morning more enjoyable.
The room size left a lot to be desired—tight and lacking storage for anything beyond a quick stay. I ran into issues with the air conditioning. it barely cooled the room even after it was fixed. The mattress felt hard as a board, resulting in some backaches. The limited menu at the restaurant doesn't offer much variety, though there's plenty of nearby dining to explore. The advertised rooftop terrace was closed, which was a bit underwhelming. Plus, while the bar drinks were on the pricier side, the quality didn’t match the price tag. my Irish Coffee was surprisingly made with lemon-flavored cream, a combo I’d skip next time.
